Veggie Stir Fry with Meat
Ingredients:
Whole Ground Spices (1 tbsp of each):
Bay Leaves, Sage, Star Anise, Cloves, Pepper, Coriander & Salt
ABEYA Pure Toasted Sesame Oil
Chopped Garlic - 2 cloves
1 Large Red Onion - chopped into chunk sizes
Mixed Vegetables of choice
Ginger chopped/grated (Optional)
Meat of choice sliced (Meat is easier sliced when semi-frozen)
Honey
Salt and spice pieces of meat/chicken using dry herbs. Add toasted sesame oil and 1 tsp of chicken stock to help bind marinade to meat. Cover and set aside for 20 minutes in refrigerator.
Heat Wok on Medium setting
Add garlic and ginger to heated oil in wok until sizzle. Add marinated meat to heated wok and brown.
Cook covered for 20 minutes or until meat juices thickens
Stir well to prevent meat from drying up or from sticking
Add chopped onions and vegetables until well coated with meat juices.
Add honey and stir well. (Honey keeps dish moist)
Serve hot.
